ASSAP Research Grants Program

ASSAP offers small research grants to help fund scientific investigations and analytical projects into anomalous phenomena. If you are considering applying, please review the guidance below to give your proposal the best chance of success.

Crafting a Winning Application

• Define a Clear, Focused Aim: You should be able to summarize your research goal in one simple, specific question.
  • Unrealistic Project: Attempting to prove whether astrology "works."
• Ensure Adequate Resources: Your methodology must be realistic and achievable using resources currently available to you. Proposals relying on specialized or costly equipment you cannot access will not be approved.
• Follow the Application Guidelines: Adhering strictly to the instructions on the application form ensures faster processing and a more favorable review by our committee.

Key Requirements & Grant Details

• Typical Grant Size: Grants are modest funding awards, typically in the region of £100 GBP.
• International Applicants: Researchers applying from outside the United Kingdom must be active, full members of ASSAP to be eligible for funding.
