A Stellar Line-Up: ASSAP Paranormal Webinars 2026 and Beyond

Looking Back Across 2026 – and Straight On Into 2027. 

I was looking at the schedule calendar for 2026, an absolutely incredible line-up of Featured guests who have graced ASSAP Paranormal Webinars LIVE and our Seriously Strange episodes. Truly an amazing line-up – this is, and was, a stellar roster. Covering a vast variety of subjects, we weaved in a season of poltergeist-focused episodes examining the subject from a variety of angles for those paying close attention. As we cross into Autumn, that visibility from the very beginning of the year feels sharper than ever. What started in January with a Year in Review Special and early outings on road ghosts, phantom monks, UFOs, time slips and the question of whether all paranormal phenomena might be related has unfolded into something genuinely rich. Month after month the guests kept coming: academics, investigators, authors, folklorists and first-hand experiencers. Quantum immortality, haunted halls, screen memories, Merseyside mysteries, Littledean Hall, artefacts and anomalies, poltergeists in Keighley and Sunderland, past-life regression, boggarts, Clapham Woods, proto-UFOs and plasma craft, magic and mentalism, Irish paranormal… the list goes on. 

People
A proper TEDx-for-the-paranormal experience, week after week. Caroline McKendrick-Gibson had been heading up the scheduling with characteristic energy and care, while I’ve been pulling multiple tasks on the production, scheduling and presentation side (whilst overhauling the website, tackling treasury, membership challenges, fixing our alignment, magazines, publications, writing, editing and more…) 
Joanna Walpole brought in a warming energy of enthusiasm, and with Kate Collins now rounding up the year, helping connect our potential guest lists, and aligning into our schedule. Looking beyond, helping keep the calendar coherent as we push deeper into the schedule. 

The result is that we already have firm dates stretching well into January 2027 and further – Stephanie Lay on the City of Secrets, a conversation with Caroline Watt, Will Russell and more open slots still to be filled with the same spirit of curiosity that has defined the year so far.  For anyone who has been following closely, there was the poltergeist strand has been particularly rewarding: multiple angles, multiple cases, multiple voices. Elsewhere we’ve ranged across hauntings, UAP, folklore, parapsychology, high strangeness and the quietly peculiar. It has been a privilege to host, produce and present among such company. 

Presentations / Talks take place live by Zoom Conference every Thursday at 7:00 pm UK time, open to all ASSAP members, followed by conversation, Q&A and discussion. Links go out from webinars@assap.ac.uk to ASSAP Members. 

This is also where our Education side comes into play as we are also a platform for those stepping up to present – whether refining a paper, an essay on a subject, testing ideas or simply sharing research with a welcoming audience of enthusiasts, researchers and academics. There is always a welcoming, non-politicising atmosphere; that was the rule Caroline and I placed in October 2024, when we began managing the ASSAP Paranormal Webinars: all are welcome…as long as you're a member or have been invited. 

Suggestions and requests for future topics and speakers are always warmly welcomed. We can but ask…
