Seriously Strange is going to be an entertaining weekend. Top speakers in the field today will come together to discuss topics such as ghosts, vampires, cryptozoology, poltergeists and UFOs.

We have a variety of academic speakers and lay researchers and a blend of accessible and more academic talks.

See the top experts debating anomalous phenomena and have a chance to get involved in the debates. Give your opinion on the burning questions of the day, or just sit back and watch the debate unfold around you.

We wrap up the Saturday session with the Gala Evening.

You can purchase a single day ticket, or weekend pass.

Gala Evening

We will be having a Gala Evening at the Railway Inn, which is 10 minutes walk (1/2 Mile) from the University. There is a fully stocked bar to purchase drinks. There will be Food, Disco, Entertainment and food. Tickets are £30.00 per person

Book early for our Gala evening, as these places are limited and sell out fast.

Accommodation

You can book accommodation on here, for the conference staying at the  University from the 30th August, until and 2nd September 2024, 

Single room - West Halls shared bathroom, no Breakfast £55.00 with Breakfast £65.00

Single room - West Halls ensuite, no breakfast £60.00 with Breakfast £70.00

Single room - Burma Road ensuite (Closer to conference theatre) no breakfast £65.00 with Breakfast £75.00
